Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ImpactLift ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

ImpactLift is a public leaderboard platform where companies and individuals contribute funds to verified social causes in exchange for public recognition and promotional visibility. The Platform connects sponsors with registered NGO partners.

3. Contributions and Payments

All contributions are processed through Stripe. When you make a contribution, you authorize ImpactLift to charge your payment method for the total amount displayed at checkout. This total includes a 20% platform service fee.

Contributions are cumulative. If you contribute again using the same website URL, you are charged only the difference needed to reach your new desired rank position.

A completed payment is what claims a rank on the leaderboard. Pending or failed payments do not affect rankings.

4. Refunds and Chargebacks

By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have reviewed the cause, pricing, and platform fee structure and authorize the payment. If you have any issue with your purchase, please contact us at [email protected] before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

5. Sponsor Listings

Sponsor listings are public. The website URL you submit will be displayed on the leaderboard and linked with rel="sponsored nofollow".

ImpactLift reserves the right to remove listings that:

  • Contain adult, illegal, or misleading content
  • Link to chat or invite platforms (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, etc.)
  • Use affiliate, referral, or tracking URLs
  • Violate applicable laws or regulations

6. Cause Allocation and Combination

ImpactLift reserves the right to combine, redirect, or reallocate cause contributions when circumstances require it. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Sudden emergencies or disaster relief situations that require immediate funding
  • When a cause reaches its funding target and excess funds could benefit related causes
  • When an NGO partner becomes unable to receive or distribute funds
  • When combining contributions across causes would create greater humanitarian impact

In such cases, ImpactLift will make reasonable efforts to notify affected sponsors and will always direct funds to verified NGO partners serving the intended cause area.

7. Tax Disclaimer

ImpactLift does not provide tax advice. Contributions may or may not be tax-deductible depending on your jurisdiction and circumstances. Consult your tax adviser regarding the treatment of contributions and service fees.

8. Limitation of Liability

ImpactLift is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
