How Our Fees Work

When you make a contribution through ImpactLift, your total payment includes a 20% platform service fee. This fee is included in the amount you see at checkout — there are no hidden charges.

What the Platform Fee Covers

  • Payment processing (Stripe fees)
  • Server hosting and infrastructure
  • Leaderboard maintenance and display
  • Click tracking and analytics
  • Customer support
  • NGO verification and compliance

Where Your Cause Contribution Goes

100% of the cause allocation (the amount minus the platform fee) is transferred to the verified NGO partner managing that cause. We do not deduct any additional fees from the cause contribution.

NGO Payouts

NGO payouts are processed on a monthly schedule. Each NGO receives a detailed report showing all contributions allocated to their causes during the payout period.

Currency

All amounts are displayed and charged in US Dollars (USD). Your bank may apply currency conversion fees if your account is in a different currency.

Tax Treatment

ImpactLift does not provide tax advice. Because sponsors receive promotional consideration (brand visibility, website links, leaderboard placement), contributions may not qualify as charitable donations in all jurisdictions. Please consult your tax adviser regarding the treatment of contributions and service fees.
